I clearly bought way too much yogurt when it was on sale a few weeks ago and ended up with an entire tub of yogurt about to expire. Since I didn’t want to waste it, I decided to try out making this frozen yogurt berry bark for my toddler. Not only did she have so much fun making this with me, but it has become one of her absolute most favorite snacks!
It’s so incredibly simple to make, takes just five minutes (unless you have a very helpful toddler getting their hands involved, haha) and then about an hour or two to freeze! It’s the ultimate healthy summertime snack that your kids are going to love.
Plus, I love how customizable it is! Use whatever fruit and toppings you have on hand, and choose the add-ins that your toddlers like best!

Ingredients Needed for Frozen Yogurt Berry Bark
Whole Milk Yogurt: When serving this frozen yogurt berry bark to toddlers 2 and under, be sure to use whole milk yogurt for the full fats they need for brain development! For older toddlers and kids, feel free to use any other yogurt or Greek yogurt that you’d prefer.
Strawberries: Slice these nice and thin so they lay flat on the bark!
Blueberries: Smaller blueberries work better here, the jumbo ones won’t stick as well in the yogurt.
Shaved Coconut: Unsweetened is obviously healthier, but sweetened does taste super yummy. Pick whichever you prefer or have on hand!
Chocolate Chips: Definitely optional here, but my daughter doesn’t say no to anything with a little chocolate in it so this just gets her to eat even more of this frozen yogurt berry bark!
Granola: You can use store-bought or homemade, any flavor tastes yummy in this frozen yogurt berry bark!

Baby-Led Weaning for Frozen Yogurt Berry Bark
This could be tough for babies under 12 months old to eat since it can be pretty hard when it’s frozen. But one year and up should have no trouble with these frozen yogurt berry bark pieces, especially as they start to melt a bit! The only common allergen in this recipe is dairy, so be sure to test that first.

Storage for Frozen Yogurt Berry Bark
Once the bark is frozen, break it into chunks and place in an airtight container. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
